A stunning 3-1 victory away to West Ham United Women, gave Yokohama-sponsored Chelsea Women FC a valuable three points yesterday in the Women’s Super League, propelling them to the top of the table.
As part of it’s ongoing shirt partnership deal with the Blues, the Yokohama name is prominently displayed across the front of the shirt of both the men’s and women’s teams, giving the premium Japanese tyre brand considerable worldwide exposure.
Chelsea’s victory lifted them above Manchester City in the table after their unbeaten start to the season was ended earlier in the day by Arsenal.
