Yokohama Serves Up Off-Road Match

As part of its groundbreaking multi-year global partnership announced earlier this year, Yokohama becomes the first ever Official Tyre Partner of the ATP Tour. Yokohama will be supporting the cinch Championships, held at The Queen’s Club, London, from 17 – 23 June.

Widely recognised as one of the most high-profile and prestigious grass tennis championships to be held in the UK, the event reinforces Yokohama’s tyres’ ability to perform to a high level on different surfaces. The event itself is one of the oldest tennis tournaments in the world and is often used by the world’s top players as a warm-up for Wimbledon.

This year, spectators will be able to see the likes of defending champion Carlos Alcaraz competing, who will be defending his 2023 crown.

“Having just come from the clay courts at the French Open, moving onto the grass courts of Queens Club will be a real test for the players,” comments Marisa Hever-Smith, managing director for Yokohama UK. “And it’s exactly this sort of test that our tyres are subjected to every day. Changing and challenging conditions where they are expected to perform regardless of the surface. Our partnership with the ATP Tour really emphasises this performance aspect and we are looking forward to supporting the event and witnessing some great tennis.”

As part of its partnership with the ATP Tour, Yokohama will be running several activations including customer promotions, social media campaigns and entertainment events.
