WESTLAKE will showcase its latest commercial truck tyre developments at IAA Transportation 2026, held from 15–20 September 2026 in Hannover, Germany. In collaboration with Interpneu and Pneuhage Fleet Solution, WESTLAKE will present new additions to its Gen II truck tyre portfolio, highlighting solutions designed to support European fleets with lower rolling resistance, improved fuel efficiency and extended mileage performance.
The products presented at IAA will highlight two key directions in WESTLAKE’s latest commercial tyre development: the Long Run series, focused on low rolling resistance, and the PRO series, developed for high-mileage applications.
Long Run Series: Lower Rolling Resistance Without Sacrificing Mileage
A major highlight will be WESTLAKE’s latest Long Run range, including the WSL2 steer tyre, WDL2+ drive tyre and WTL2 wide-base trailer tyre, with the WSL2 and WDL2+ now achieving EU Tyre Label Class A for rolling resistance.
Covering steer, drive and trailer axle positions, the range is developed for long-haul operations with a focus on lower rolling resistance, improved fuel efficiency and extended mileage.
The WSL2 steer tyre is designed to support stable handling and high mileage, with a high-saturation tread design and low heat-generating compound that help reduce rolling resistance while maintaining consistent performance.
The WDL2+ drive tyre focuses on mileage, traction and efficiency. Its wider tread design, multi-3D steel plate pattern and low rolling resistance compound help improve fuel economy while delivering reliable grip during long-distance operation.
The WTL2 trailer tyre completes the long-haul solution, combining durability, mileage performance and fuel efficiency for trailer applications. As a wide-base trailer tyre, it features a low rolling resistance compound, high-saturation tread design and crown winding technology to support longer service life, improved stability and efficient fleet operation.
PRO Series: Developed for High-Mileage Fleet Operations
Alongside the Long Run range, WESTLAKE will highlight its PRO series, developed for fleet applications where high mileage and long-term durability are key priorities.
A key product in the series is the newly launched WTR PRO trailer tyre, designed for applications where mileage and wear performance are critical. Featuring a wider tread design, higher pattern saturation and a wear-resistant tread compound, the WTR PRO is engineered to deliver longer mileage and more even wear, supporting fleets seeking extended tyre life and consistent performance in demanding conditions.
The four new products — WSL2, WDL2+, WTL2 and WTR PRO will be available for order during IAA Transportation 2026.
In addition to these latest products, WESTLAKE will also present selected Gen II commercial tyres, further showcasing its product portfolio developed for European fleet needs.
