The Vaculug Technologies DX Freight commercial vehicles are united in wearing a large poppy at the front of the vehicle, a way of showing public appreciation for the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families in safeguarding our freedoms and values.
It represents all those who lost their lives whilst on active service in all conflicts; from the beginning of the First World War right up to the present day. It also honours the contribution of civilian services and the uniformed services which contribute to national peace and security.
Harjeeve Kandhari, Chairman of Vaculug Technologies, said: “We’re extremely proud and pleased to be become the first and only British Retreader to sign up to the Armed Forces Covenant. This is our promise to the nation that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.”
