Popular, independent review site, Tyre Reviews, recently tested twelve of the most popular tyres in the in bestselling size, 205/55R16. The 2020 Ultimate Summer tyre test focused on tyres for everyday driving. The new Uniroyal RainSport 5 came in fourth, earning the title of “Recommended” for its excellent performance in the wet.
The Uniroyal RainSport 5 demonstrated its strength in wet conditions, earning recognition for a strong aquaplaning performance, short wet braking distance and comfort. Known as the rain tyre, the RainSport 5 came first in straight aquaplaning thanks to its unique tread pattern. This is due to innovative Aqua-Twist sipes that enable rapid water dispersal from the contact patch.
The RainSport 5, is the new wet-weather specialist for a range of vehicles.
