TyreSafe, the UK’s leading tyre safety charity, is pleased to welcome Autogem Invicta as a new Commercial Supporter, strengthening the charity’s mission to improve road safety through tyre and vehicle safety awareness.
With a heritage dating back to the 1960s, Autogem has built a reputation for going beyond the transactional to create long-term, trusted partnerships with workshops across the UK and beyond. Its award-winning approach focuses on delivering exceptional service, technical expertise and tailored programmes that help customers improve efficiency, unlock new revenue streams and enhance customer engagement.
A cornerstone of Autogem’s offering is its TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) Programme, which has been in place since 2007. Through innovations such as the i-sensor® range and comprehensive diagnostic and replacement solutions, Autogem supports more than 4,500 workshops, offering coverage for over 99% of vehicles fitted with Direct TPMS in Europe. The programme is backed by extensive training, technical support and ongoing education, ensuring workshops are fully equipped to meet growing TPMS demand.
The relevance of TPMS has increased significantly since its mandatory fitment on all new passenger cars from November 2014, alongside MOT requirements introduced in January 2012 for vehicles fitted with TPMS. As millions of vehicles now operate with ageing sensors, battery failures, corrosion and environmental wear are creating growing safety risks and clear opportunities for preventative maintenance and servicing.
Autogem’s philosophy aligns closely with TyreSafe’s objectives: improving understanding, encouraging proactive maintenance and supporting best practice across the automotive sector.
In addition to its technical leadership, Autogem is also known for championing the next generation of industry talent through initiatives such as its “Under Pressure” contest, an annual competition designed to celebrate and challenge young tyre technicians. TyreSafe has been proud to support this initiative, serving as judges on the panel and reinforcing a shared commitment to skills, standards and safety.
Commenting on the partnership, Prashant Chopra, Managing Director, at Autogem Invicta, said, “We are delighted to be working with TyreSafe as a Commercial Supporter. Road safety sits at the heart of what we do, and TPMS plays a vital role in keeping vehicles safe, efficient and roadworthy. By combining education, training and the right tools, we can help workshops deliver better outcomes for motorists while supporting safer journeys for everyone.”
Stuart Lovatt, Chair of TyreSafe, added, “We are very pleased to welcome Autogem Invicta as a Commercial Supporter of TyreSafe. Their long-standing commitment to training, technical excellence and TPMS awareness closely aligns with our mission to improve tyre safety on UK roads. Partnerships like this play a vital role in helping us educate both the motor trade and road users about the importance of correct tyre pressure and well-maintained TPMS systems.”
TyreSafe looks forward to working closely with Autogem Invicta to promote tyre safety awareness, support industry education and help motorists understand the importance of correct tyre pressure and TPMS maintenance.
