Following the success of last year’s event, the TyreSafe Briefing and Evening Awards will again be held at St George’s Park, home of the National Football Centre, located in Burton Upon Trent. Returning to this state-of-the-art venue on the 17th September, the Briefing will feature a line-up of road safety stakeholders presenting the latest information on tyre safety and a range of demonstrations and interactive exhibits.
As regular attendees would expect, the Briefing will also launch resources for Tyre Safety Month in October but, brand new for 2020, they will be able to order the materials at the same time, including requests for dual-branded assets.
There is no fee to attend and all road safety stakeholders will be welcomed with a networking lunch. However, due to the popularity of the event, only registered guests will be admitted as spaces are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations can be made using the online booking form at tyresafe.org where those interested in receiving more details on exhibition space can also register their interest. Details of the TyreSafe Awards, which follow the Briefing in the evening of the 17th September, will be announced shortly.
Stuart Jackson, Chairman of TyreSafe, said: “The TyreSafe Briefing and Awards is one of the road safety calendar’s highlights and offers the opportunity to update supporters on all developments, welcome new stakeholders and remind our campaigners of the importance of raising awareness of the tyre safety message. Enabling delegates to order their Tyre Safety Month materials at the Briefing is an example of further innovations and enhancements to the programme which will ensure everyone is primed and ready to go for the 1st of October.”
