Tyre Shop Celebrates 25 Years with Community Event and Charity Fundraiser

All Tyres and Wheels Kent Ltd marked its 25th year in business last month with a celebration that combined food, fun, and fundraising. The anniversary event drew in customers past and present, as well as local residents, all keen to join in the festivities and show their support for a business that has become a trusted part of the community.

The shop, which first opened its doors in 2000, has grown steadily over the years from a small operation with just a handful of staff to a well-established local name and 2 depots’. To mark the milestone, the owners organised a special event at their premises, transforming the forecourt into a lively hub for the afternoon.

Visitors were welcomed with free refreshments throughout the day. Hot food was served as well as snacks, and a wide range of drinks, ensuring there was something for everyone including a live band. Families stopped by with children, older customers enjoyed catching up with familiar faces, and new visitors came to learn more about the business that has quietly supported the community for over two decades.

Banners, balloons, and decorations set a celebratory tone, while a display of photographs from the early days gave guests a glimpse into the shop’s journey. Customers enjoyed pointing out cars and faces from the past, sparking conversations about how much the area and motoring has changed since the shop first opened.

A major highlight of the celebration was a raffle held to raise funds for the Air-Ambulance charity Kent, Surrey and Sussex that supports the Kent and Sussex Air Ambulance. Local businesses contributed generously to the prize pool, donating items such as car care kits, restaurant vouchers, gift hampers, and even 2 tickets to a Europa league football game.

Tickets sold quickly, with attendees eager to support the cause as well as take home one of the prizes. By the end of the afternoon, the raffle had raised a significant sum. The winners were announced to cheers and applause, with many guests staying on to celebrate the success of the fundraiser.

The shop’s owner, who founded the business in 2000, gave a heartfelt speech during the event. He thanked both the loyal customers who have returned year after year and the dedicated staff who have kept the business running smoothly through good times and bad.

“Reaching 25 years is a milestone we’re very proud of,” he said. “But it’s not just about us it’s about the people who have supported us since day one. Without our customers’ trust and the hard work of our team, none of this would have been possible. Today is our way of saying thank you.”

He also reflected on the challenges the business has faced over the years, from economic downturns to the rapid changes in motoring technology. Despite these obstacles, he said, the shop has always prioritised honesty, reliability, and community service.

Throughout the afternoon, the event felt less like a business anniversary and more like a neighbourhood gathering. Guests mingled over food and drinks, swapped stories, and reminisced about the past. Many commented that the shop had become more than just a place to buy tyres, it had become a trusted fixture of the community.

Staff members echoed that sentiment, saying the highlight of the day was the chance to meet so many familiar faces. Several long-time customers expressed their appreciation for the friendly service and straightforward advice that have kept them coming back year after year.

As the event wound down, the atmosphere remained upbeat. With raffle prizes collected and the last of the refreshments served, the shop’s team were already looking toward the future. Plans are in place to expand services and continue supporting local causes, building on the legacy of the past 25 years.

For many residents, the anniversary celebration was more than just a party. It was a reminder of the importance of local businesses, not only as service providers but as community anchors that bring people together.
