Ascenso Tyres CE GmbH (ASCE), founded in 2020 and based in Wallenhorst, deals with the import and marketing of the Ascenso off-highway tyre brand produced by Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited (MTPL). The focus is on Central Europe as a market and the company has been on a steady growth course since it was founded. To further push its ambitious plans, Ascenso Tyres CE GmbH is now strengthening its sales team with two more industry experts:
Since March, Pawel Kopinski has been responsible for business in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia as Sales Manager for Eastern Europe. Kopinski has extensive international trading experience in various markets in East Asia, Eastern, Central and Western Europe, including 15 years of tyre industry experience as a purchasing and sales manager at a leading Polish tyre wholesaler.
In April, Olaf Sandeck switched to Ascenso Tyres CE. Sandeck has over 20 years of professional experience with leading commercial vehicle tyre wholesalers and more than 10 years in industry, including Trelleborg. He uses the industry knowledge he has accumulated over 32 years at ASCE as OEM2 Sales Manager.
From 10.04. till 14.04. the manufacturer MTPL in India was visited, among other things to introduce the two new employees to the MTPL management.
Pawel Kopinski’s impressions from the visits to the tyre factory in Gujarat and the head office in Mumbai confirm his decision: “One of my colleagues said that Ascenso is the largest and most interesting project in the tyre business in recent years. Our trip to India definitely confirmed this opinion. The energy and pace at which the MTPL company is developing is incredible. You have to see it with your own eyes to be convinced. I am now sure that my choice to continue my career path with ASCE was the right one.”
Olaf Sandeck’s comment on the visit was similarly satisfied: “I am very impressed by the dynamic development that the company has made in a very short time. During our visit to the factory and the head office, we only met very experienced and motivated industry experts. In the state-of-the-art factory, work is carried out according to very high quality standards and production processes.
