Triangle Tyre Earns Second Consecutive EcoVadis Gold Rating

Triangle Tyre has earned its second consecutive EcoVadis Gold Rating, achieving an overall score of 85 and placing among the top 5% of companies measured worldwide.

The result follows the company’s first assessment in 2025, when Triangle became the first company in China’s tyre industry to receive Gold recognition. This year’s rating reflects its continued work across the four areas evaluated by EcoVadis: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

EcoVadis evaluates more than 150.000 companies across over 180 countries and regions. Its ratings help businesses evaluate the sustainability practices of their suppliers and are widely used in international procurement decisions.

For Triangle, environmental progress starts with how tyres are designed and manufactured. The company is investing in more efficient production processes, including intelligent vulcanisation, while developing tyres with lower rolling resistance and increasing the use of recycled and bio-based materials. Digital energy management also helps identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions across its operations.

These efforts have earned Triangle recognition as an “Energy Efficiency Leader” from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and support its broader carbon management and emissions reduction objectives.

Employee welfare is another part of this work. Guided by its “Caring for People” culture, Triangle combines training and career development with occupational health and safety programs. Its digital systems track workplace hazards from identification through corrective action. The company has also received “Top Employer” recognition for several consecutive years.

In business ethics, Triangle and all its subsidiaries hold ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System certification. Employee training, a Business Conduct Supervision Committee, and confidential reporting channels support the company’s approach to integrity and compliance.

The same attention extends to the supply chain. Triangle is strengthening the traceability of key raw materials, including natural rubber, and incorporating ESG assessments into supplier management. Working with suppliers and other partners is an essential part of improving sustainability beyond its own factories.

As a member of the United Nations Global Compact, Triangle has published sustainability reports for two consecutive years, providing a clearer account of its activities and progress against international standards.

For customers and distribution partners, the renewed Gold Rating provides an independent reference when appraising Triangle’s sustainability practices. It is particularly relevant in international markets, where environmental performance, responsible sourcing, and transparency increasingly influence supplier selection.

Triangle will continue to focus on practical improvements in product development, manufacturing, and procurement. The aim is to translate its sustainability commitments into better-performing tyres, more efficient operations, and a more responsible supply chain.
