International development organisation Transaid is making the return of Transaid Month this May, encouraging colleagues, supporters and friends of the charity to celebrate and promote its sustainable development programmes, as well as raise vital funds. Transaid works with communities, partners, and governments to address transport challenges across sub-Saharan Africa, working to improve road safety and access to healthcare.
This year’s theme is “Small Actions, Big Impact!”, encouraging everyone to take on small personal challenges that can make a big difference. Whether you want to move more, learn something new or support the cause through fundraising, there are lots of ways to get involved.
Take Part as an Individual
- Set your own challenge and raise funds (or donate what you save) to support Transaid’s life-saving work. Whether you push yourself physically or make a simple lifestyle change, every action adds up.
Take Part as an Organisation
- Raise awareness of Transaid among your friends, colleagues, suppliers and clients using a communications pack provided by Transaid.
- Bring your colleagues together and turn everyday actions into meaningful change, whether you host a team challenge, encourage individual participation, or amplify the campaign internally.
- Order Transaid promotional materials for staff incentives, client giveaways or events.
- Support Transaid through payroll giving.
