Toyo Tires Proud to be Part of PDC World Darts Championship

The best players in the world are battling it out for £2.5million in prize money at the Alexandra Palace from December 15 to January 3.

Former tyre-fitter Peter Wright is the defending champion but the likes of Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price are determined to take his crown and the £500k first prize.

It is undoubtedly the biggest Christmas party of them all, the “hottest ticket in town”. Over 85,000 fans will attend the event with millions more tuning in on Sky Sports and across Europe.

The darts always attracts huge celebrity interest. Pop superstar Lewis Capaldi has already been at the venue to watch along with YouTuber Jaackmaate.

The Toyo Tires logo will be worn by all 96 players at the forthcoming World Championship, to be held over the festive period in London, and Toyo will also have further strategic brand placement throughout the PDC season.

Toyo Tires are also at the Ally Pally every day with a unique game to keep fans amused between darts sessions.

It’s a Beat The Clock game where you have to stop the timer on exactly ‘180’.

Together, Toyo Tires UK and the PDC have also delivered a terrific range of digital activations around major tournaments which has been a huge hit with fans.

In 2022, the global reach at PDC events where Toyo Tires can enjoy a presence is a truly breathtaking estimated 40 million viewers.

In the UK alone, this figure is expected around 7.3 million viewers, eclipsing many other televised sports, while over 500,000 fans attend PDC events worldwide.

But, for now, who will be the first World Champion of 2023…find out at the Ally Pally on January 3.
Toyo Tires will continue to partner the PDC throughout 2023 so we can look forward to more interaction with players, events and competitions on social media and on location.
