GB Tyres are very proud to be a truly family owned and run business. Sukhi Singh (Managing Director) started the business back in 2013 and in the last 10 years it has grown and developed rapidly. During that time, several key functions in the business have been carried out by members of the family.
Jay Singh (Son of Sukhi) will already be a familiar name and face to many in the industry. Jay has been working full time in the family business for the last two years. Jays’ responsibilities in the business are directing OE business, supporting sales in UK and International Markets. Jay is also responsible for sourcing and purchasing stock for all segments which are: Passenger car, Truck, Agricultural and OTR.
Having recently completed his journey in education we now see Ray Singh (Son of Sukhi) also taking up a full-time position within the business. Ray will work closely with Sukhi and Jay and support all key areas of the business.
The business has always understood the importance of building a strong and experienced team. Many vital functions within the business are performed by highly experienced tyre industry veterans, from sales to marketing to commercial operations and logistics.
The number of years’ industry experience within their team is easily counted in the hundreds, with one member of their team alone, having an impressive 46 years of tyre industry experience.
The next generation has also arrived in the form of several brand-new Iveco Sway trucks. Look out for GB Tyres, JK Tyre and Aerotyre branded trucks on the roads. The business frequently invests in its own development and growth and enhancing their vehicle fleet is just one small part of this ongoing investment.
