As the countdown to this year’s Silverstone Festival continues, one lucky motoring fan has been pleasantly surprised by winning a set of four high-performance tyres from Yokohama, the official tyre partner of the event.
Hertfordshire resident, Jerry Andrews, was one of the thousands of people who were quick off the mark to book their tickets for this year’s Festival, which runs from 25 – 27 August at Silverstone circuit. As an early-bird ticket buyer, Jerry was automatically entered into a prize draw for one of the event’s ‘Golden Tickets’. With his name successfully drawn at random, Jerry has secured a set of four tyres 20” tyres from Yokohama to fit onto his Chrysler 300 SRT-Design estate.
On being notified of his prize win, Jerry said, “Wow! This is such great news. As someone who never wins anything this is such a pleasant surprise. I was already looking forward to the event in the summer, but knowing that I’ll be able to turn up on a fresh set of Yokohama tyres will make it extra special.”
Yokohama has been the official tyre partner of the event since 2018, showcasing its range of competition, high-performance road, and off-road tyres to hundreds of thousands of motoring fans during that time.
