BMW has officially approved the Beissbarth Q.Lign 3D wheel alignment system, marking a significant milestone for one of the most advanced alignment systems currently available.
This latest endorsement follows earlier approvals from Mercedes-Benz and the Volkswagen Audi Group (VAG), positioning the Q.Lign as one of the few systems on the market recognised across multiple leading OEMs.

The Q.Lign is the world’s first fully web-based wheel alignment system, removing the reliance on traditional trolleys, fixed PCs and printers. With no bulky cabinets or fixed installations required, it offers a more flexible and space-efficient approach for modern workshops. The system can be accessed via tablets, smartphones, smart TVs or computers, giving technicians the flexibility to control and monitor alignments from anywhere in the workshop.
This approach not only improves workflow efficiency but also frees up valuable workshop space. Alignment reports can be generated and shared instantly across the network, supporting faster turnaround times.
Ease of use remains central to the system’s design. Four integrated OLED displays positioned beneath the vehicle provide real-time alignment data, allowing uninterrupted adjustment of toe, camber and caster. When paired with BMW Fast Clamps or Magnetic wheel clamps, the system delivers fast, accurate and repeatable measurements.
Compact, Mobile and Future-Ready
Built with flexibility in mind, the Q.Lign features a compact, fully mobile design powered by long-life lithium-ion batteries. This allows it to be used across multiple bays or workshop environments without restriction.
The system also supports ADAS calibration when used in conjunction with the Beissbarth Q.DAS calibration rig, helping workshops meet the growing demands of modern vehicle safety systems.
As with all Beissbarth equipment, the Q.Lign operates using OEM-supplied alignment data from vehicle manufacturers worldwide, ensuring every alignment is completed using precise, up-to-date specifications.

For BMW-specific work, the Q.Lign is available with dedicated quick-clamp options designed to deliver run-out-free measurements on original BMW rims and alignment points. Magnetic clamp and Q.Grip options are also available for broader use across OEM and aftermarket wheels. There is an upgrade path for existing KDS III users. Workshops with existing BMW Fast wheel-clamps or the popular Magnetic clamps can reuse their existing clamps without buying afresh.
