Six Reasons to Join Yokohama at The Classic

Premium tyre manufacturer, Yokohama, returns to Silverstone race circuit this summer bank holiday weekend, where it will once again be the official tyre partner of The Classic, Europe’s biggest historic racing event.

Thousands of historic motorsport fans are expected at the home of British motorsport, where they will be fully immersed in a variety of octane-fuelled motorsport, classic car festivities, and festival fun for all the family from Friday 26 August – Sunday 28 August.

As ever, Yokohama will host a number of thrilling attractions, including:

  1. The Yokohama Legends display featuring some of the world’s most intriguing and desirable vehicles throughout automotive history
  2. The Yokohama Skills Zone where children up to 15 years of age can hone their football skills with coaches from the MK Dons Sports Education Trust (SET)
  3. Yokohama display truck with a selection of iconic cars fitted with Yokohama tyres
  4. Presentation of the Yokohama Trophy for Club Car of the Show which is awarded to the owner of the most exceptional car from the 100+ car clubs in attendance
  5. Presentation of the Yokohama Trophy for Masters Sports Car Legends where Le Mans-style sports cars and Group 4 period cars from 1962 up to 1974 battle it out head-to-head on the world famous Silverstone circuit
  6. A display of Yokohama’s latest range of road and race tyres including three ‘classic’ tyres manufactured to modern standards, the ADVAN HF Type D, the A008P and the T. Special Classic alongside its regular line up including the recently launched ADVAN Sport V107 and Geolandar X-AT G016

Yokohama will also be showcasing the all new ADVAN Neova AD09 in the UK for the first time following its official launch at the Nürburgring in Germany earlier this year.

Yokohama’s product experts will also be on hand to answer any tyre related queries from visitors.
