Since February 9, 2026, Sherif Degheidy has been the new Director Specialty Tires for the MEA region. In this role, Sherif will be responsible for the strategy and sales of the Specialty Tyres division in the Middle East and Africa and will report to Jeffrey Hughes, Director EMEA. In the newly created role, he will work closely with the respective product and marketing teams with the aim of establishing Linglong Tire as one of the leading specialty tyre providers in the market.
Degheidy comes from Goodyear, where he successfully led the Specialty Tyres business in the Middle East and East and West Africa for the past twelve years, most recently as OTR Sales Manager. Prior to that, he worked for KAL Tire, and managed tyres operation in a gold mine in Egypt. Thus, Sherif has extensive experience on the industrial, commercial and customer side.

Sherif is an Egyptian citizen and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Power Engineering.
