A global diagnostics specialist has become one of the first companies of its kind to achieve BSI 10125 Kitemark certification for mobile services, an accreditation so rarely held in the sector that it represents a significant landmark for the industry.
Repairify now holds full BSI 10125 Kitemark coverage across its entire UK operation, encompassing workshop, remote, and now mobile diagnostic solutions. The certification sets the business apart, with few businesses across the industry pursuing mobile diagnostics accreditation. Achieving this milestone strengthens Repairify’s position as a trusted diagnostics provider that supports repairers and conforms with insurers’ repairer requirements.
Adding further to the achievement, Repairify has simultaneously secured SERMI accreditation for its mobile offering, completing full coverage across all service channels for both standards, and making it one of the most comprehensively certified diagnostics businesses in the UK.
The significance for insurers is considerable. BSI 10125 Kitemark certification demonstrates that Repairify’s mobile operations are independently audited to strict repair standards, providing the kind of verified compliance and quality assurance that insurers increasingly demand from their repair partners. For an industry under growing pressure to evidence the quality of its supply chain, a partner with full accreditation across every service channel represents a meaningful differentiator.
Steven Mullen, Compliance Operations Manager at Repairify, said: “Very few diagnostics businesses can claim full BSI 10125 Kitemark and SERMI accreditation across every service channel and fewer still have achieved it for mobile. This is a demonstration that our standards, our processes, and our people meet the same rigorous bar whether we’re operating in a workshop, remotely, or on the road. For our insurer partners and customers, that consistency of quality is something they can rely on with complete confidence.”
BSI 10125 is the British Standard for vehicle damage repairs, administered by the British Standards Institution, the UK’s national standards body. The Kitemark is its recognised mark of quality and safety, independently verified through regular audit.
SERMI, meanwhile, is the European scheme governing access to vehicle security-related repair and maintenance information, designed to ensure that only verified, reputable operators can access sensitive vehicle data. With the UK formally adopting the framework on 1st April 2026, holding accreditation is set to become a baseline expectation for credible diagnostics providers.
