Record Presence for Yokohama at the Silverstone Festival

Premium tyre manufacturer, Yokohama, has announced it will return with its biggest presence to date at this year’s Silverstone Festival, where it is the official tyre partner for the fifth consecutive year.

The event, which is widely regarded as Europe’s premier historic motorsport festival, with family fun and amazing food all in one weekend, takes place at the Northamptonshire circuit and home of British motorsport between 25-27 August. As well as its historic motorsport activity, the Festival will also include a host of attractions for modern-day motoring fans including an F1 Fan Zone and Switch Live, an area dedicated to everything electric.

In its biggest investment to date in the Festival, Yokohama will host a number of brand-new attractions which reflect the brand’s dynamic purpose and deliver even higher levels of fan engagement.

“Silverstone Festival delivers for fans every year, but we are especially excited about our expanded presence at this year’s event,” explains Peter Fairlie, CEO, Yokohama UK. “Visitors will be left in no doubt that we are an integrated partner of the event as the Yokohama name and our fresh activities will be highly visible. The brand-new Yokohama brand hub is just one of a number of innovations from us and will be a major focus and meeting place for many of those attending. We look forward to welcoming and meeting the thousands of fans who will be attending the weekend.”

In addition to the new brand-hub, Yokohama’s VIP hospitality area will be handily situated in close proximity to the popular Foodie Fest. Yokohama’s motorsport display truck will be a dominant presence in the International Paddock and crowds will be thrilled by the high-octane antics on show in the Yokohama Shift and Drift Zone. Reflecting its best-of-breed pedigree, Yokohama will continue to select and present the Car Club of the Year Trophy and is the sponsor for the Yokohama Trophy for Masters Sports Car Legends.
