Racing Vlogger Broadbent takes The VW Wheel with GT Radial

Vlogger and esports gamer, Jimmy Broadbent and Director at Tegiwa Imports, Luke Sedzikowski joined GT Radial for the penultimate rounds of the 2021 Fun Cup Endurance Championship at Oulton Park.

In the one-hour sprint the team performed extremely well with car number 97 finishing 10th having started 21st on the grid.

However the four-hour endurance race finished in disappointment, having started from 15th position the car was shunted off the track early on, span at the fast island which resulted in splitter damage and suffered gearbox failure which finished their race within one hour and 34 minutes.

GT Radial has primarily used the 2021 Fun Cup Endurance Championship as a social media tool, inviting racing legends, celebrities and influencers to enjoy the series’ unique challenges and share their experiences with their followers.

Broadbent has 738k YouTube subscribers plus 98.4k Instagram and 93.9k Twitter followers. A 25-minute video of his action-packed day with the GT Radial team, which can be viewed HERE, already has over 130k views.

Other icons who have enjoyed time behind the wheel of GT Radial car number 97 include Freddie Hunt, professional racing driver and son of Formula One legend James Hunt, Honda TT legend John McGuiness and Steve Peat, renowned multiple World and British Downhill Mountain Bike Champion.
