PRINX Brings XELERA and X-Chip to IAA

At IAA Transportation, PRINX Europe will demonstrate how performance, efficiency and intelligent tyre management can be seamlessly combined. The spotlight will be on the newly developed XELERA truck tyre range and the X-Chip digital solution. The company’s presence at the trade fair is aimed specifically at fleet managers who want to get more out of every kilometre, as well as partners and vehicle manufacturers.

At the upcoming IAA Transportation in Hanover, taking place from 14 to 20 September 2026, PRINX Chengshan Tire Europe will present new products designed to deliver high mileage, lower operating costs and more predictable maintenance.

“A high-performance tyre is only the beginning today. Fleets and vehicle manufacturers expect solutions that combine efficiency, reliability and transparency,” explains Thomas Wohlgemuth, Managing Director of PRINX Europe. “This is exactly where we come in with a portfolio designed for different applications, digital capabilities and a team that understands the European market.”

Across its 220-square-metre exhibition stand, the Darmstadt-based company will place particular emphasis on its intelligent X-Chip tyre solution and the latest development from its premium PRINX brand: the XELERA truck tyre range, manufactured in Thailand.

XELERA Tyre Range – The Right Solution for Every Route

The entire XELERA range has been developed specifically for the European market and comprises three product lines for different applications: XELERA Route for regional transport, XELERA EcoLine for long-haul operations and XELERA EcoRoute for mixed-use applications.

Each product line is available for steer, drive and trailer axles and is also VECTO-ready. This clearly structured portfolio enables fleet operators to select the most suitable tyres according to the vehicle, route, axle position and operating profile.

Since August, all three axle variants of the XELERA EcoLine long-haul range have also carried the TÜV SÜD certification mark.* This independent certification confirms the tyres’ quality and performance.

“For fleets, this means independently tested performance combined with our aim of continuously improving mileage, efficiency and cost-effectiveness in daily operations,” says Stefan Fischer, R&D Director at PRINX’s European Technical Center in Hanover.

X-Chip: Data That Drives Fleets Forward

At the trade fair, Thomas Wohlgemuth and his team will provide individual consultation as well as detailed insights into the company’s proprietary technologies. One of the main highlights at IAA Transportation will be X-Chip.

This digital solution transforms the tyre into an intelligent component of fleet management. X-Chip records data including temperature, tyre pressure, mileage, load and tread depth—and much more. This allows maintenance to be planned more effectively and helps reduce the risk of vehicle downtime.

The technology contributes to optimising rolling resistance, improving tyre utilisation and ultimately lowering a fleet’s total cost of ownership. A cutaway tyre displayed at the stand will demonstrate how X-Chip is integrated into PRINX truck tyres.

More Choice for Different Market Requirements

The exhibition will also feature selected bus and truck tyres from the sister brands Austone and Fortune Tires. These two brands complement the technologically focused premium PRINX portfolio with reliable solutions for the value segment.

KÜKE Reifengroßhandel and Woerlen Reifen, two experienced German distribution partners, will also be part of the trade fair team.

For PRINX Europe, the main focus in Hanover will be direct dialogue about OEM requirements, fleet applications and product technologies with fleet managers who want to get more out of every kilometre and vehicle manufacturers shaping the mobility of tomorrow.

PRINX Europe will be located in Hall 21, Stand C35. All company representatives will also be available on site during the press day on 14 September 2026.
