Point S Tyre & Autocare, the UK’s leading independent tyre dealer and car maintenance network, has delivered its first bespoke training course to its network.
The Air Conditioning Service and Maintenance Level 3 course was delivered as part of Point S’ IMI Approved training programme. The objective of the course was to equip technicians within the network the knowledge, skills and confidence to diagnose and repair R134a and R1234yf Air Conditioning systems.
Jon Taylor, Point S UK and European Training Manager, said, “It is fantastic to see the Point S training programme fully underway. I’m delighted that every delegate passed the course and that the feedback on the content, facilities and delivery has been so positive.
“Delivering this course is a major milestone, but it is only the beginning of what we are looking to achieve with our training programme. We are developing new courses to add to our curriculum of class-leading training, and I look forward to sharing further updates on our progress in due course.”
The Point S network received official recognition as an IMI approved centre in March 2023, marking a pivotal step towards its goal of becoming the largest qualified and certified European network for Electric Vehicle (EV) maintenance by 2026.
