The NTDA has announced the finalists for some of its 2024 Tyre Industry Awards, which will be presented at a ceremony sponsored for the 10th consecutive year by tyre manufacturer Sailun, during the Association’s SOLD OUT 95th Annual Dinner on Thursday 10th October at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milton Keynes. The dinner is, once again, sponsored by long standing NTDA supplier member, and Tyre Industry Awards supporter, Maritime Cargo Services, while the awards will be co-hosted, by international ventriloquist, comedian and TV personality Paul Zerdin.

In addition, the NTDA is keeping some category recipients “under wraps” for example the winner of the Product Innovation of the Year Award – sponsored by National Highways will be announced on the evening.
The recipient of the Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Tyre Industry – sponsored by Hankook Tyre UK Ltd, together with the recipient of the Chief Executive’s Round and Black Award – sponsored by Snap-On and recognising individual altruism in relation to safety, raising standards and improving the trade for others will also be revealed on the 10th of October.
NTDA Chief Executive Officer Stefan Hay said: “It’s been another brilliant year for entries, and some are absolutely exceptional and after close scrutiny, so far 63 have met the criteria and made it through to the finals and are now being assessed by our independent panel of judges. As always, I was surprised that we didn’t receive more entries from out tyre retail members, especially as I know, from personal experience, the level of excellence many of them operate to, but those who have entered are all of an incredible standard.
It was great to see so many more of our aftermarket equipment supplier members entering this year and pleasing to see entries across several categories coming in from Kerr’s Tyres Group as it’s been 6 years since we had one of our leading NTDA Northern Ireland members represented at the award finals.
640 guests have now booked for the 95th Annual Dinner and we are certain that we’re set for another exceptional, SOLD OUT, evening and I am sure that my co-host Paul Zerdin will make it even more unique and add his skill, humour and professionalism to the proceedings.”
