Nexen Tire has announced that its N’BLUE 4 Season 2 tyre has received the “Green Tire” seal by Auto Bild, one of Germany’s most popular automobile magazines. This was taken as an occasion to announce the expansion of the N’BLUE 4 Season 2 line-up with the addition of over 60 new sizes. This latest product range, spanning sizes from 15″ to 20″, caters to a wide array of popular passenger car models.
Awarded as green tyre, the N’BLUE 4 Season 2 reaffirming its reliability through, among other things, high mileage and a lower environmental impact through abrasion. This is a significant achievement for the Korean tyre manufacturer, which has received the “Green Tire” award, recognising the company’s commitment to safe mobility and environmental sustainability. Only two out of the 35 tyre manufacturers who participated in the test were awarded the “Green Tire” award.
Earlier this summer, the all-season profile garnered acclaim in the “Safety” category of the French magazine “Auto Plus”. The tyre’s intelligent material properties, featuring enhanced elasticity in low temperatures and increased stiffness in high temperatures, contribute to an expanded contact area with the road to significantly improve the braking performance. The innovative product design impressed editors with secure braking capabilities on dry, wet, and winter road surfaces.
Mr. DC Kim, Vice President of Europe Sales & Marketing at Nexen Tire Europe s.r.o., commented, “The expansion of our successful all-season tyre product line, coupled with recent accolades, serves as further motivation to continue investing in the development and research of sustainable materials in tyre production. Nexen Tire prototypes, already in existence, consist of 44% renewable and 8% recycled materials, reflecting our commitment to a greener future.”
Nexen Tire is committed to providing high performance and environmentally friendly tyre solutions, and the latest additions to the N’BLUE 4 Season 2 range underline its commitment to market-driven solutions and forward thinking.
