NAMA Expands European HP and UHP Portfolio

NAMA Tires has introduced new High Performance (HP) and Ultra-High Performance (UHP) passenger car tyre lines for the European market, further expanding its PCR portfolio produced at the companys Cambodia manufacturing facility.

The new HP NM-39 and UHP NM-68 patterns are designed for premium sedans, SUVs and performance-oriented passenger vehicles, targeting growing replacement market demand across Europe for higher-value summer tyre segments.

According to NAMA, the launch forms part of the companys broader strategy to strengthen its presence in Europe through expanded PCR production capacity and regional supply flexibility.

The HP NM-39 focuses on balanced everyday driving performance, combining wet handling, ride comfort and treadwear performance through an asymmetric tread design with optimised shoulder rigidity and water evacuation channels. The pattern is positioned for mid- to high-end passenger vehicle applications.

Meanwhile, the UHP NM-68 has been developed for high-performance and luxury vehicle segments, featuring reinforced shoulder construction, wide longitudinal grooves and multi-angle siping intended to improve high-speed stability, dry braking and wet handling performance.

Both tyre lines are manufactured at NAMAs Cambodia facility, which operates under an Industry 4.0 production framework incorporating intelligent warehousing, automated material handling and digitally integrated manufacturing systems.

NAMA stated that the facility currently supports combined annual PCR production capacity of approximately 20 million units across Phase I and Phase II operations.

The company added that the new HP and UHP ranges comply with European regulatory requirements covering wet grip, rolling resistance, noise emissions and environmental standards. Production is managed under ISO/TS 16949 quality systems with full process traceability from raw materials through final inspection.

NAMA said the expansion reflects continued investment in higher-value passenger tyre segments as European distributors increasingly seek diversified sourcing options and stable long-term supply from Southeast Asia.

The company currently supplies PCR, TBR and specialty tyre products across multiple international markets.
