The return of the Tyrexpo Asia Show in early March was the perfect opportunity for Portugal based Grupo Alves Bandeira to exclusively showcase their increasingly popular private brand MatraX for the very first time in Asia.
Taking place at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre in Singapore with the MatraX stand displaying a comprehensive range of their product portfolio incorporating patterns for the PCR, UHP, 4×4, SUV and truck market sectors
Andre Bandeira, Grupo Andres Bandeira Managing Director says, “Being at the show gave us the chance to take the growth of the MatraX brand into Asia in style and we were surprised by the impressive reaction from visitors to our range. We have been exhibiting at the Tyrexpo Asia shows as Grupo Alves Bandeira for the past ten years but on this occasion our stand was totally dedicated to MatraX.
“I also felt that the quality of visitors to our stand was outstanding and amounted to many international existing partners and a great deal of potential new buyers for the future. Not just from Asia but all over the world including the Middle East and Africa.”
The MatraX tyre range will be further extended during the course of this year by an additional 50 size options within the PCR segment along with further sizes in the SUV sector. So far, the TBR range has concentrated on increased mileage performance but for the future more rugged patterns will be developed by the MatraX engineering team. At the same time RV tyres will be introduced during the course of 2023 with Electric Vehicle (EV) tyres making their debut in the range next year.
Andre adds, “MatraX tyres are currently available in over 50 countries as part of our ultimate objective of global recognition for the brand. So making a substantial impact in Asia at the show represents the next step forward in our ambitious aim for MatraX.”
