Mark Widdows has been promoted to Managing Director of Select+ Automotive Network following the creation of the new brand.
During his time as Network Director of Colewood Automotive, Mark used his strong career expertise to introduce a new bespoke buying group for rewards and benefits. The group, Select+ Automotive Network, is an exclusive rewards programme that harnesses the power of Colewood Automotive’s network of 1900+ Fitting Partners.
Launched in April 2025, the buying group was created to give Fitting Partners flexible ways to redeem rewards from the online portal. The Colewood Automotive team created Select+ to harness the buying power of their ever-expanding network and give something back to their loyal fitting partners.
Mark Widdows, a highly respected industry figure. With an extensive 42-year career in the automotive industry, Mark has worked across a range of roles from tyre fitter to National franchise manager.
He became Network Director at Colewood Automotive in 2024 after previously working with Goodyear and Bridgestone. Colewood Automotive operates several large ecommerce tyre websites in the UK including Asda Tyres, RAC Tyres, and Etyres, helping fitters and garages increase their exposure and bookings.
Mark’s experience helped him understand what benefits and rewards resonate the most with tyre fitters. From this, he created the brand new Select+ programme that he believes to be the largest independent buying group.
Mark said: “After 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, it’s been good to utilise this knowledge of what garages like and don’t like to create an industry-leading product. I’m really excited to be presented with this opportunity to both launch and lead the biggest network of my career.”
