Following MAHA UK’s successful participation and support of Road Transport Expo in Stoneleigh, it is excited to make the journey up north and meet existing customers and new prospects.
MAHA UK’s team of Luke Fuller and James Thompson will be on-hand to showcase the MBT 7250 commercial brake tester with rising roller bed option. Designed to lift rollers up to 250mm and simulate axle loads of up to 10 tonnes, its hydraulic system applies weight by raising the vehicle. This delivers accurate, real-world brake testing without external loading.
MAHA UK has seen a surge in enquiries and orders over the last 12 months. This follows the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency’s (DVSA’s) Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness, putting the spotlight on brake performance. Safety inspections are now expected to include a brake performance assessment that is carried either by a laden roller brake test, a suitable electronic braking performance monitoring system or a decelerometer with temperature readings.
The workshop equipment provider expects those numbers to increase further after DVSA approved the rising roller bed option for annual testing in Authorised Testing Facilities (ATFs).
Luke and James expect brake testing, specifically laden tests to be a key talking point during conversations.
Lifts and headlight testers also focal points of RTX Scotland display
Alongside the MBT 7250, Luke and James will also highlight the C_RGA mobile column lift and range of headlight alignment testers.
The versatile lift is a favourite for its flexibility, reliability and simplicity. It is made to handle a wide variety of vehicles, offering lifting capacities of up to 7.5 tonnes per column. Its wireless communication, intuitive control interface and robust design make it ideal for operators seeking both safety and efficiency in busy workshop environments.
Also, on display will be MAHA UK’s range of headlight alignment testers. With increasing scrutiny on vehicle lighting performance and MOT compliance, these testers, MLT 1000 (analogue) and MLT 3000 (digital) will provide a quick, dependable way to ensure headlights are correctly adjusted to meet regulations.
MAHA UK Managing Director, Neil Ebbs, said: “RTX Scotland is an exciting event for us; it’s the first one to take place away from Stoneleigh, and if the success of that exhibition can be replicated in Glasgow, then it promises to be a rewarding two days.”
“Luke and James are ready to put the emphasis on our equipment, as well as our customer services, and reveal what makes them an appealing proposition.”
