Yokohama Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Giuseppe La Iacona, who joined the company on September 15, taking on key leadership responsibilities aimed at supporting the continued growth and consolidation of Yokohama across the European market.
With more than 20 years of experience within the tyre industry, Giuseppe brings extensive international expertise spanning sales, marketing, business development, country general management and international customer management. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions across several European markets developing a deep understanding of the tyre industry and a proven ability to navigate complex local market dynamics while driving international business growth. This combination of international exposure and in-depth knowledge of the tyre industry will support Yokohama Europe in further strengthening its organisation and developing new opportunities across the region.
Reporting directly to Takashi Maki, CEO of Yokohama Europe, Giuseppe has been appointed to several key positions within the European organisation. He assumes the role of General Manager South Europe, leading the newly established South Europe Cluster with the objective of strengthening coordination and synergies between Yokohama’s operations in Italy and France. He also takes on the role of CEO of Yokohama Italia, with overall responsibility for the Italian subsidiary.
In addition, Giuseppe has been appointed Head of International Customers. In this capacity, he will coordinate and support Yokohama’s European subsidiaries in the management and development of international customers operating across multiple markets, fostering a more consistent commercial approach and enhancing collaboration across countries.
His role will support Yokohama Europe in creating greater alignment across its organisation, fostering closer cooperation between markets and customers, and contributing to the continued development of the business across Europe.
