Kerr’s Tyres Group has bought MW Tyres & Exhausts for an undisclosed sum. MW Tyres have been trading for the past 28 years from Ballyclare. Current owner Michael Workman is retiring after 40 + years’ service in the tyre industry, Kerr’s have retained the current staff and are recruiting further so customer service levels can be maintained and further services introduced.
The deal follows Kerr’s other acquisitions of late and is in line with its overall growth strategy and supports its plan to strengthen its current retail network throughout Ireland in a changing and highly competitive market.

MW Tyres & Exhausts has been rebranded as MW Tyres & Auto and will now offer the 24/7 365 UK & Ireland coverage offered by Kerr’s Tyres Group
Note. Kerrs Group now operates from 12 sites in Northern Ireland and 4 sites in the Greater Dublin region, This will see Kerrs enter the top 25 of UK Tyre rankings and enter the top 3 in Ireland.
