Hankook took first place in the summer tyre category thanks to two test wins for the new Hankook Ventus evo. In the all-season tyre category, Hankook ranked third overall with four top placings for the Kinergy model series.
Two Test Wins for the New Ventus Evo – First Place in the Summer Tyres Category
Hankook made an impressive start to the current tyre season with the launch of the new Ventus evo. The new premium summer tyre has taken the top spot in two independent Auto Bild summer tyre tests. “With two test wins, the new Ventus evo from Hankook has made the perfect debut,” says Auto Bild. Hankook was the only manufacturer to achieve a double victory in the overall ranking of summer tyre manufacturers, sharing first place with a competitor.
Four Top Placings for the Kinergy Family – Third Place in the All-Season Tyres Category
Hankook also showed its strength in the all-season tyre segment, where the Kinergy model series impressed in four different tests with consistently strong results and secured Hankook third place overall in the manufacturer ranking. The awards confirm Hankook’s high level of performance. The different tyre models performed consistently well in all relevant test categories – from wet braking performance to dry handling to winter characteristics for all-season tyres. The two test wins for the new Ventus evo highlight how well this tyre fits into the premium segment, while the consistently high performance of the Kinergy model series in four independent all-season tyre tests demonstrates that Hankook is one of the most reliable manufacturers in this segment.

The Auto Bild manufacturer ranking summarises the results of all the tyre tests conducted in a season and evaluates manufacturers based on a points system: Test win: 6 points; Exemplary: 5 points; Good: 3 points; Satisfactory: 2 points; Recommended with reservations: 1 point. In addition: Eco Champion: 1 bonus point; Green Tyre: 2 bonus points. For the 2025/2026 season, Auto Bild tested a total of 67 summer tyres and 61 all-season tyres.
