With TPMS legislation soon to include commercial vehicles, Hamaton is delighted to offer a one-of-a-kind upgrade from ATEQ. VT56 users across Europe can purchase a truck upgrade, enabling them to read and diagnose TPM systems on all commercial vehicles.
According to ATEQ, this upgrade allows users to service both passenger and commercial vehicles without investing in another tool. Those who upgrade will gain a separate menu dedicated solely to commercial vehicles. As with the passenger car section, the truck menu includes many features ideal for TPMS maintenance. And, as one would aspect, users can switch between options whenever required.
With the truck menu, users can look up sensor part numbers and create vehicle profiles based on configurations (the number of axles and wheels). The tool displays all sensor data – notably tyre pressure – and can even programme aftermarket sensors as they become available.
Furthermore, the truck upgrade will soon be available to other ATEQ manufactured diagnostic tools.
