The PROXES Sport 2 from Toyo Tires is an ultra-high-performance tyre for sporty cars and SUVs. In the latest summer tyre tests by ADAC/ÖAMTC and TCS (Touring Club Switzerland), it had to face a strong field of competitors. A total of 17 tyre brands had to prove themselves on dry and wet roads. The Toyo Tires PROXES Sport 2 achieved good results and even received a “highly recommended” rating from the TCS as well as a clear ‘good’ in the “efficiency” section.
The ADAC/ÖAMTC also rated the driving safety of the PROXES Sport 2 as “good” and explained this in detail: In spontaneous evasive manoeuvres, the tyre provides stability and safety at the limit. Its short braking distance was also mentioned. On wet surfaces, the tyre also offers good grip as well as precise and controllable handling.
