Kluson joins from Kumho Tire where he held the position of Key Account Management OE Europe from 2018-22 before which he was Junior Key Account Management OE Europe from 2017-18. Prior to that he worked for Goodyear Dunlop (Hanau) as Supply Chain Coordinator OE for Europe from 2015-16.
Chris Bloor, International Sales and Marketing Director for Giti Tire, said: “Nicolas has been imbedded in the OE business since he first started in the industry and has a proven track record of securing high-profile new project nominations throughout Europe.
“We have proven with several partners that we can produce and deliver OE tyres which meet manufacturers’ exacting performance characteristics, coupled with a company ethos based on our environmental activities which entirely match manufacturers’ own green objectives.”
Nicolas added: “The definition and implementation of a business strategy for international vehicle manufacturers, in line with the company philosophy and brand planning, remains core to Giti’s success in Europe.
“The business already has an amazing operation from its European R&D Centre in Hannover and MIRA facility in Nuneaton, England right through to its replacement business, and a successful OE operation underpins everything we want to achieve in terms of growth moving forwards.”
