GB Tyres UK Ltd are one of the fastest growing Commercial Tyre Wholesalers in Europe offering a wide range of tyres for the Truck, Plant, Agri and Forklift market segments. The company began its life as a commercial tyre service provider in the West Midlands and then ventured into the truck tyre wholesale sector. Whilst the wholesale division quickly became the dominant part of the business the realisation also came that the tyre fitting & service division was in direct competition with GB Tyres wholesale customers, therefore the decision was made to focus purely on wholesale and leave the service provision to its customers. In December 2018 GB Tyres moved to a new £2.2m Head Office and warehouse facility but despite holding onto there original premises, the demands of its customers and the growth of the business resulted in the purchase of a third warehouse in March 2019.
GB Tyres offers a wide selection of products including premium truck tyres from, Michelin, Bridgestone, Goodyear, Dunlop, Continental, Firestone, Hankook and exclusive to GB Tyres in the UK & Eire are the mid tier brands Formula and Tegrys both from Prometeon. GB Tyres are also proud of their exclusive relationship with Ling Long, one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers with manufacturing facilities in China, Thailand, USA and a new plant currently under construction in Serbia. Ling Long are also current sponsors of Juventus FC, FC Wolfsburg and the Serbian Soccer Superliga.
GB Tyres have also recently signed an agreement with JK Tyre India to become its exclusive partner in the UK & Eire.
In addition to holding significant tyre stocks of Truck, Agri, Plant and OTR, GB Tyres also supply direct container of passenger car tyres from Sunwide, Hilo and Ling Long.
In 2019 GB Tyres were shortlisted in the prestigious NTDA awards for “Truck & Agriculture Tyre supplier of the year” and “Tyre Wholesaler Of The Year” and also in shortlisted for the Birmingham Business Masters Award.
