Five Alive! Autogem Celebrates Another NTDA Awards Success

Autogem is continuing to set the standard for aftermarket excellence, after celebrating an unprecedented five wins in six years at the NTDA Tyre Industry Awards to underline its unwavering commitment its customers.

The remarkable victory is one of the company’s most significant milestones, having won the supply chain awards honour in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025. It brings the company’s total NTDA Awards haul to seven in six years, underlining an unwavering commitment to customer service, training, innovation and continuous improvement.

For Managing Director Prashant Chopra, the secret behind that success is refreshingly straightforward.

“People often ask me what the formula is. The recipe is simple: having selfless colleagues that genuinely care for our customers and each other. It is a deep culture that has built up over time and we are particularly protective of it when taking on new team members.”

“It means a great deal to everyone here because we know how much work goes into delivering the right service, day after day. This award belongs to the whole team as well as our customer and supplier partners that help us shape our programs.”

Autogem’s approach centres on building lasting relationships rather than simply supplying products. Supporting more than 5,000 workshops nationwide, the business works to understand the challenges its customers face and provide the solutions, technical assistance and expertise they need to operate effectively.

Ian Andrew, Chief Executive Office of the NTDA, said: “This was the first year of the Best Supply Chain Award, which had the largest volume of entries, reflecting the wide range of companies that supply the tyre sector including aftermarket suppliers, tyre distributors, software providers and recruitment partners. Sponsored by Blackcircles, we were delighted that the judging panel selected Autogem as the worthy winner.”

“The judges got a true sense of Autogem’s commitment to partnerships. Their partnership philosophy defines everything they do and I believe this is what clinched it for them.”

Prashant added: “We’ve never wanted to be a business that simply completes a transaction and moves on,” Prashant added. “We want to understand our customers, support them properly and build relationships that last.”

While consistency has been central to Autogem’s success, the company continues to develop its offering in response to changing aftermarket demands. From advancing TPMS technology to strengthening technical support and investing in training, it continually looks for ways to help customers and raise standards across the industry.

For Prashant, the latest award recognises both the foundations on which Autogem was built and the effort being made to take the business forward.

“Winning five times in six years is an incredible achievement, but we can’t sit back and think we’ve cracked it,” he said. “The industry keeps changing, our customers’ needs keep changing and we have to keep getting better. We listen, we learn and we look for ways to improve.

“That’s what makes this award so special, it gives us the motivation to relentlessly keep pushing forward.”
