Fennell Tyres International, part of the Magna Tyres Group, is expanding into the South West of Western Australia with the acquisition of Bunbury’s Tyre Specialists. From Monday, 17 August, the Bunbury operation will officially become part of Fennell Tyres International, strengthening its presence and service capabilities across the region.
Since joining the Magna Tyres Group in 2020, Fennell Tyres International has continued to strengthen its presence across Western Australia, and this acquisition reinforces its commitment to providing industry-leading tyre solutions and customer support.
A key factor underpinning the transaction is the long-standing professional relationship and mutual respect between Aldo Gismondi, Director of Magna Tyres Australia, and Bevan Dillon, Director of Bunbury’s Tyre Specialists. Over many years, both industry leaders have developed a strong working relationship founded on shared values, customer service excellence, and a commitment to supporting the transport, construction, industrial and earthmoving sectors.
Through this acquisition, Fennell Tyres International strengthens its presence in the South West and improves its ability to support customers across both Perth and regional Western Australia. Customers will benefit from better service, faster response times and broader product availability.
As part of the acquisition, approximately five employees will join Fennell Tyres International. The Bunbury site will become part of Fennell Tyres International from 17 August 2026 and will continue operating during the transition. The business will operate under the Fennell Tyres International name, with all existing customer contact persons and service contracts remaining in place.
