EXHIBITOR DAY RETURNS AS MORE BUSINESSES SIGN UP FOR AUTOMECHANIKA BIRMINGHAM 2019

Automechanika Birmingham is hosting an Exhibitor Day designed to ensure exhibiting companies leverage as much as possible out of the show and enhance visitor experience.

The event is due to take place on 21 March at Birmingham NEC and comes after 2018’s exhibitor day received an overwhelming ‘thumbs up’ from all who attended. With more aftermarket businesses committed to taking part in this year’s trade show in June, many exhibitors are signing up to the helpful exhibitor day.

Major names already committed to the 2019 exhibition include Schaeffler, ZF, DENSO, MAHLE Aftermarket, Delphi Technologies, Valeo, Bosch, Hella, Bilstein Group, MANN + HUMMEL, NGK and Yuasa, with new names signed up to exhibit including Apec Braking Ltd, BM Catalysts, Draper Tools, GROUPAUTO, Morris Lubricants, OESSA, Texa UK and Total UK.

As well as giving this year’s exhibitors the chance to seize upon invaluable networking opportunities with fellow automotive businesses, it will provide an ideal opportunity for them to share their stand plans with the press, in time for preview issues.

The day will also arm them with a raft of information including presentations on pre-show marketing, attracting visitors to the stand and making best use of the networking facilities available.

In addition, this year will welcome professional training providers 12th Man Solutions to the exhibitor day, where the company’s exhibitions division ProExTra will be delivering a fast-paced, interactive session and sharing practical hints, tips and advice to help inspire exhibitors and generate a stronger ROI from this year’s show.

A number of event suppliers will also be in attendance, on hand to offer discounts to exhibitors on furniture packages, stand designs, catering and scanners to capture visitor data.

With over 10,200 automotive industry personnel attending the highly successful 2018 event, alongside 500 exhibitors from over 120 companies spanning 26 countries, 2019 promises to see the return of leading suppliers. New initiatives will include the Bodyshop Training Hub, a new Aftermarket Innovation Showcase, Retail Accessories Village, and central Visitor Highway to name a few, with more details to be shared at March’s event.

Nichola Reeder, Director and Co-Founder of 12th Man Solutions said: “We are relishing working with Automechanika Birmingham and applying our in-depth experience in delivering training workshops for major industry names. Our aim is to inspire exhibitors, helping them to find their unique voice and speak passionately about their brand to influence buyers and visitors at the show.”

Jack Halliday, Event Director of Automechanika Birmingham, said: “Our objective is to give exhibitors the best support possible, ensuring they are fully equipped to contribute to delivering one of the best visitor experiences yet at this year’s show.

“12th Man Solutions’ involvement this year adds an extra dimension for our exhibitors, and will help to unleash their inner exhibitionist in order for them to reap the full benefits of showcasing their products and services in front of thousands of visitors.”

From 4-6 June 2019, the UK’s leading exhibition for the automotive aftermarket and vehicle production industry will take place at the Birmingham NEC.
