Ecobat Battery will be exhibiting at Automechanika Birmingham in June and highlighting the opportunities battery related matters present to wholesalers and workshops alike.
As Europe’s largest battery distributor equipped with a team of knowledgeable power storage experts, Ecobat Battery is ideally positioned to help independents from both the wholesale and installation side of the industry to understand the issues they face and the opportunities that are available for all matters concerning the supply, fitment and recycling of batteries, as well as the ongoing development of battery technology.
Demonstrating the spectrum of solutions the company has to offer, the Ecobat Battery stand – G90 in hall 20 – will be divided into five defined areas: automotive, leisure, mobility/motorcycle, chargers/invertors, with a fifth being dedicated to sister company Ecobat Solutions, which, reflecting the industry’s focus on electric vehicle (EV) technology, offers a fully integrated EV battery logistics, re-engineering and recycling service to manufacturers.
“Automechanika Birmingham is the biggest aftermarket event on the UK calendar, so we are treating it accordingly,” explains Ecobat Battery’s Commercial Director, Paul Payne, “which is why we are showcasing example products from 19 of the leading brands that we actively supply to our customers throughout the country.
“Our messages to visitors are equally diverse, so alongside best practice battery advice, such as to check the battery of every vehicle that enters the workshop and to make sure the battery is supported when carrying out diagnostic tests for the installers present, as well as highlighting other non-automotive focused sales opportunities for wholesalers, we’ll also be presenting charging and solar solutions for the leisure sector, products to cater for the motorcycle and mobility sectors and even addressing the EV market with an EV lithium battery pack.
“However, being an automotive event, it is important to restate the market’s ongoing requirement for the 12-volt battery in its various forms, as it is still a vital component within the system, whether fitted in a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or fully electric vehicle. As a result, it’s even more important for wholesalers to partner with a knowledgeable supplier, with the depth of range and premium quality brands, to cater for any requirement as the technology in the replacement market shifts accordingly. Reflecting these changes, we’ll also be using the show to launch the latest Ecobat Battery product catalogue.
“So, as this message makes clear, there will be a lot for visitors to see and many opportunities to discuss, which is why we extend a warm invitation to members from all sides of our trade to come to the NEC in June and find out for themselves how they can benefit from a product category that is relevant to every vehicle on the road now, and will remain so in the future!”
