Dunlop Set to Support Riders Competing in Dunlop Geomax Challenge at 6DAYS®

The 98th NOCO FIM International Six Days of Enduro (6 DAYS®) will be held next month in Galicia, Spain, drawing more than 550 riders from 30 countries for six days of intense off-road racing. This year’s round will take place between 14th-19th October and will mark the fifth time ISDE has been staged in Spain, with the most recent visit taking place in 2016 in Navarra.

In June, it was announced that Dunlop would return as an official sponsor of 6DAYS®, bringing back the Dunlop Geomax Challenge to the event. The challenge supports club and amateur riders competing in the Club Team Reward category of the competition who choose to race with Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyres. Dunlop first sponsored FIM ISDE in 2021 for its 95th edition, where it introduced the Dunlop Geomax Challenge.

All participants in the Dunlop Geomax Challenge will receive an official Dunlop rider garment kit and branded challenge sticker, with the top-performing riders being honoured on the Dunlop Challenge podium during the 6DAYS® official prize-giving ceremony.

The first-place winner will receive a premium Dunlop Sparco Racing Seat and an exclusive VIP MXGP pass. The second-place prize includes a Dunlop paddock tent, while the third-place finisher will take home a Ogio Backpack. Additionally, all top-three finishers will be awarded a specially designed Dunlop Challenge Trophy, along with a Dunlop podium cap.

This year, riders can pre-order Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyres to take advantage of discounted rates in advance of the competition. With the support of V2 Motorsport, Dunlop’s on-site tyre servicing in Galicia will ensure that every entrant using Geomax EN91 tyres receives expert support throughout the event.

Dunlop Geomax EN91

Central to Dunlop’s involvement in 6DAYS ® is the Dunlop Geomax EN91 enduro tyre, which is proven to provide riders with superb versatility and grip over a wide range of riding conditions. Its compound, which features hexagonal and tilted crown blocks, was specifically designed to provide agile handling and the highest grip on off-road surfaces.

The innovative tyre has therefore proven to be a winning choice for enduro riders of all levels in recent years. Notably, Dunlop riders David Abgraal and Erik Willems were crowned Enduro European Champions in 2023 and 2022, respectively, after completing their seasons on Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyres. This year Dunlop rider Max Ahlin leads the Junior Enduro World Championship, having already won in four and finished in a podium position in ten out of a possible twelve days of competition equipped with Geomax EN91.

Wim Van Achter, Motorsport Manager, Dunlop Motorcycle Europe, commented: “We are proud to be continuing in our long-standing partnership with the FIM by bringing the Dunlop Geomax Challenge back for the 98th edition of 6DAYS® ISDE. The challenge celebrates and rewards riders for their trust in Dunlop to carry them to endurance success, ensuring a high level of competition for club and amateur riders alike. ISDE stands as one of the few championships where amateur riders have the opportunity to compete alongside professionals, showcasing Geomax EN91’s capability to equip riders at every level. We look forward to seeing our Geomax EN91 tyres in action and celebrating the achievements of all who take part this year.”

Riders intending to race with Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyres are advised to pre-order their tyres and mousses by September 30th to take advantage of discounted rates. Available stock in the paddock will be extremely limited.
