Crosswind and Leao Launch New Summer Van Tyres

After Linglong Tire already presented the new Linglong Dura Master Van tyre this spring, two more summer van tyres are now being added to the product families of the two group brands Leao Tire and Crosswind Tire. With the Dura Peak Van, Crosswind presents a summer tyre for vans and light commercial vehicles for the first time, Leao Tire presents the Nova-Force Van 2, the successor to the proven Nova-Force Van.

Both tyres have been specially designed for vans and motorhomes and impress with their high mileage, low rolling resistance and optimised driving characteristics. The profiles combine the latest technologies with a new, robust construction. The optimised tread patterns and wider treads ensure less wear and significantly higher mileage. A new and innovative tread compound has optimised rolling resistance, which leads to significant cost savings, a decisive purchase motive, especially for commercial customers. The reinforced carcass ensures a high load capacity, especially important for fully loaded vehicles. Thanks to a new sipe technology integrated into the tread pattern in combination with the optimised silica tread compound, the braking distance in wet conditions has been reduced and at the same time the handling characteristics in wet and dry conditions have been improved.

“With the new Crosswind and Leao van tyres, we are expanding our range in the field of light commercial vehicles and offering a high-performance solution for both businesses and private households,” says Wencheng Liu, Head of Product Management at Linglong Tire. “Both tyres combine high mileage with safety and efficiency, crucial factors for cost-conscious families and entrepreneurs who use their vehicles on a daily basis.”

The Crosswind Dura Peak Van and the Leao Nova-Force Van 2 are built exclusively in the state-of-the-art Linglong tyre factory in Zrenjanin, Serbia. A total of 29 Dura Peak Van and 29 Nova-Force Van 2 sizes from 12 to 17 inches are available and can be ordered now.

The profiles were developed at the European Development Center in Hanover. The test drives took place on the European test track in Idiada (Spain) and on the Group’s own Sino Asia test site in China.

At the end of 2026, new winter and all-season treads will complete the van tyre line-ups at both Crosswind and Leao Tire.
