Visitors to Hillhead 2024, the UK’s largest quarrying, construction and recycling exhibition, will be able to get to grips with Continental’s broad range of intelligent on- and off-road tyre solutions at this year’s eagerly anticipated event.
Running from 25th to 27th June at the Hillhead Quarry in Buxton, the expo will see Continental preview the newest sizes in its all-new LD-Master Traction L5 tyre. This tyre is the latest addition to the ContiEarth range and has been specifically engineered for operators navigating the most demanding terrain. It will play a pivotal role in assisting customers to achieve a consistently high level of productivity and assure maximum vehicle uptime.
Hillhead 2024 will also serve as the platform to introduce the 750/65R25-version of Continental’s revered EM-Master E3/L3 tyre for ADTs, loaders and dozers. This tyre combines a standard tread depth with wide spacing between the blocks to deliver exceptional traction and manoeuvrability on soft and muddy ground. The open tread also facilitates greater cooling, which helps to extend tyre service life.
At this year’s Hillhead, Continental will once again be demonstrating its digital tyre pressure monitoring system, ContiPressureCheck and virtual tyre management platform, ContiConnect. To complement the existing solutions, Continental this year launched ContiConnect Lite, a new app version for digital tyre management. ContiConnect Lite creates a bridge between the tyre sensors and professional tyre management and offers a free-of-charge gateway to selected ContiConnect features. It can now be used on tyres with an integrated Generation 2 sensor.
Every tyre in the ContiEarth range is fitted with Bluetooth-enabled, temperature and inflation pressure monitoring sensors during the manufacturing process. In doing so, Continental can offer the earthmoving sector a diverse range of intelligent tyres that can work hand-in-hand with operators to increase efficiency and minimise downtime.
