Continental to Debut New Tyres and Technologies at Hillhead

Continental will return to Hillhead 2026 with two major tyre debuts and its latest digital technologies. The tyre specialist is giving quarrying, construction and industrial operators the opportunity to experience first-hand the products designed to maximise uptime, productivity and performance in the toughest environments.

Taking place from 23rd to 25th June at Hillhead Quarry in Buxton, the exhibition will provide visitors with an exclusive chance to explore Continental’s newest additions to its growing earthmoving tyre range, alongside intelligent digital solutions that are transforming tyre management in the sector.

Making its debut at this year’s show is the new LD-Master Rock L5 tyre, developed specifically for extreme rock applications. Engineered for exceptional durability and protection in harsh conditions, the tyre features a robust 3-star casing, reinforced sidewalls and massive lugs designed to deliver maximum productivity while helping operators minimise costly downtime.

Hillhead 2026 will also mark the first public appearance of Continental’s new MPT 91 tyre. Built for versatile on and off road use, the MPT 91 delivers excellent traction, high mileage and dependable performance across mixed operating conditions, making it an ideal solution for construction and industrial fleets.

Alongside its latest tyre innovations, Continental will showcase its evolving Digital Solutions technologies, including tyre pressure and temperature monitoring, maintenance alerts and tread wear analysis. With intelligent sensors fitted as standard across Continental’s radial earthmover tyre range, operators can gain real-time insights to improve efficiency, extend tyre life and reduce unexpected downtime.

For fleets operating across both road and off-road environments, visitors will also be able to explore the Conti CrossTrac range, developed to combine strong on-road mileage and fuel efficiency with the durability, traction and cut-and-chip resistance required for demanding off-road applications.

Tom Godwin, Sales Manager Earth Mover, MPT & Military for UK & ROI, said: “Hillhead allows attendees a great opportunity to see our growing product portfolio up close, discuss applications directly with our team, and gain a hands-on understanding of the technology, quality, and performance behind the Continental range.”

“This year is particularly exciting as we are introducing two new tyre solutions that directly address the challenges our customers face every day, whether that’s operating in extreme quarry environments or balancing on-road and off-road performance.”

Ian Jackson, Technical Customer Services Manager, commented: “Hillhead is always an excellent opportunity to speak directly with operators and understand their real-world challenges. Our digital solutions continue to evolve, helping customers gain an even greater understanding of tyre performance and maintenance requirements.”
