Cloud Nine for Giti Tire and the VW Fun Cup Endurance Championship

Giti Tire is on cloud nine having been named as Official Tyre Partner of the VW Fun Cup Endurance Championship for the ninth consecutive year.

Under the terms of the agreement all cars will continue to race on GitiCompete GTR2 tyres and the Giti logo will appear on official clothing, media microphones and backdrops, across all social media activities and around each circuit.

The company will also have a large allocation of VIP and general access tickets for its partners.

The VW Fun Cup Endurance Championship consists of 10 rounds and kicked off at Oulton Park International on April 13th. The next races are scheduled at Croft, Anglesey Coastal, Snetteron, Brands Hatch and Donington Park, with the season concluding back at Oulton on October 26th.

“It is also still proving beneficial from an R&D perspective with our European Research & Development Centre in Hannover regularly checking post-race tyres to see what learnings we can take into our everyday Giti portfolios.”

The GitiCompete GTR2 forms part of a comprehensive range of competition racing tyres which are used in events around the world with the proven technology findings adapted to further develop its everyday passenger car portfolios.
