The Parts Alliance and Brembo have teamed up to give budding young Picasso’s the opportunity to win prizes. The ‘Colour for Hope’ competition takes its inspiration from the rainbow pictures being displayed in windows across the country during the Covid-19 outbreak.
The competition features six line-drawings depicting the manufacturer’s brake pads, discs and calipers. Children aged between 4 and 16 are encouraged to print out their favourite drawing and then be as creative as possible in colouring it. There is no restriction in how the pictures are coloured, so children can use paint, pencil, crayon. Entrants are encouraged to showcase their imagination and colour both the brake part and background.
“At a challenging time, this competition is all about children enjoying being creative and having fun,” said Stuart Tagg from Brembo. “We’re really looking forward to seeing how they use their imagination to turn a simple line drawing into something vibrant and colourful.”
The competition has been open for a week and the first entries have been received. The closing date is Friday 22nd May, with the winners being announced soon afterwards. The five winning entries will each receive an exclusive Brembo Goody Bag.
“We really appreciate children taking the time to participate in the competition,” said Simon Moore, Head of Marketing at The Parts Alliance. “Good luck to all the entrants.”
