Bridgestone has been selected as the tyre supplier for the new Volkswagen ID. Polo GTI, providing bespoke Potenza Sport tyres for the first fully electric GTI in Volkswagen’s history. The vehicle was unveiled at the Nürburgring during the recent 24-hour race.
Bridgestone’s premium tyres have been engineered to translate the GTI’s sporting DNA onto the road, while also meeting key performance requirements in braking, wear life and road noise.
Developed and manufactured in Italy, the tyre incorporates Bridgestone’s ENLITEN technology and was designed using the company’s proprietary Virtual Tyre Development technology.
