Bridgestone and Firestone will be showing off its pulling power at LAMMA – quite literally – in an attempt to leave an action-packed impression on thousands of visitors.
A duel-brand approach to the show will double the impact on people visiting the stand, with a multi-V8 modified tractor puller called ‘Aftermath’ taking centre stage – fitted on Firestone Puller 2000 tyres.
In addition to this, Bridgestone’s critically acclaimed VX-TRACTOR tyre – fresh from a resounding nationwide tour where its benefits were brought to life – will also feature heavily at LAMMA, as will the Performer 70 – 85 Extra, which features a compound upgrade and is ideal for medium horsepower tractors.
One of the main messages Bridgestone will be imparting will inevitably be weather-related, with so much wet weather causing huge headaches, which has now lead to what will be, a very busy Spring drilling period of work. Bridgestone’s VT range offsets the worst that these elements can throw at farmers, as it can operate at lower inflation pressures, and with much larger footprints, helping farmers to establish an earlier drilling window in Spring, while still protecting the boggiest of land.
Bridgestone’s AG sales manager Stephen Lamb said: “This back-end has been extremely wet for so many farmers, causing a lot of work now, to be put off until this coming spring. With our VT range it’s possible to start a little earlier, and in that way, helping to get the work back on track.”
