Bridgestone in partnership with Kwik Fit has inflated its ‘EV Ready’ tyre technology to up to 58,000 at the British Motor Show, with a little help from freestyle BMX gold medallist Bridgestone ambassador Charlotte Worthington.
The leader in mobility solutions is reflecting on its most memorable presence of the year after showcasing its premium products at Farnborough International from August 17th to 20th.
Bridgestone’s ENLITEN tyre technology platform was brought to life during the event, which delivers specific benefits depending on the type of tyre and the requirements of every driver, while ensuring that Bridgestone’s tyre portfolio is future-ready.
Meanwhile, Bridgestone ambassador Charlotte Worthington was also with Bridgestone to talk first-hand about the benefits of top performing tyres from her own unique experience, in what was a highlight of the entire show.
Tyres benefiting from ENLITEN include the Turanza 6, which is perfectly suited to internal combustion engine models, hybrids and electric vehicles, helping to optimise their performance. The Turanza 6, along with the Potenza Sport and Potenza Race tyres, all featured prominently during the event, which saw Bridgestone partner with Kwik Fit, as exclusive partner sponsors of the Motorsport Arena and Hall Five.
Bridgestone’s Consumer Sales Director Brett Emerson said: “The British Motor Show is always a highlight of our year, as we are able to interact with tens of thousands of motorists at the show, the majority of which had extremely positive impressions of the brand before they’d even come to see us.
“Having Charlotte Worthington on our stand with her gold medal was a highlight which we’ll remember for a long time to come. She gave some fascinating insights into her own journey on two-wheels and it was great to see so many families having their pictures taken with her and playing alongside her on our tyre derby game.”
Brett added: “It was an incredible event for us in lots of ways. One of many positives was the insight gained into motoring driving habits and electric vehicle purchasing intentions.
“The motoring industry is undergoing great change and to be able to show that Bridgestone is at the forefront of such change was a massive thing and gives us a great deal to build on.”
Andy Lane, Marketing Director at Kwik Fit, said: “We took away so many positives from our presence at the British Motor Show with Bridgestone. We were able to combine the strength of both of our brands to leave a huge impression with tens of thousands of motorists. Bridgestone’s premium tyre portfolio is second-to-none and with the backing of our national network across the UK, motorists were safe in the knowledge that we have a network to support them, wherever they are in the UK.”
