Bri-Stor Systems has joined the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) as one of its latest members championing high standards in fleet conversion, a move that signals a step forward in Bri-Stor Systems’ mission to shape the next generation of UK fleet operations.
Backed by more than four decades of delivering high‑quality, fully compliant conversion solutions for major national fleets – including the AA, British Gas, Halfords, Openreach and the RAC – Bri‑Stor Systems has long been recognised as a driving force in the LCV conversion sector. Now, its BVRLA membership cements that position, aligning the business with the organisation leading the push for safer, greener and more future-ready fleets across the UK.
Membership gives Bri‑Stor Systems a seat at the table on emerging regulations and a more influential role within the fleet community, enabling closer collaboration with industry peers to shape the standards and innovations needed to move the sector forward.
To mark the start of its membership, Bri‑Stor Systems will host its first webinar, tackling one of the biggest challenges facing fleet operators today: how to decarbonise larger commercial vehicles that require additional onboard power.
The session will be led by Catherine Bowen, Head of Decarbonisation and Future Fleet at the BVRLA, who will share expert insight into this rapidly evolving area.
“We’re pleased to welcome Bri-Stor Systems to the BVRLA community,” said Amanda Brandon, Director of Member Engagement at the BVRLA. “We’re also delighted that Catherine Bowen, our Head of Decarbonisation and Future Fleet, will be joining the webinar to provide her expertise. The fleet sector is undergoing one of its biggest transitions in decades, and progress will only happen through collaboration between operators, suppliers and industry bodies. Bri-Stor Systems brings valuable experience in complex LCV conversions and electrification challenges, and we look forward to working with them as we continue to address shared issues such as infrastructure readiness, regulatory barriers and the adoption of new technologies across the sector.”
Adam Smith, Operations Director at Bri-Stor Systems, added: “Joining the BVRLA is an important step for us, giving Bri-Stor Systems access to the right conversations across fleet and leasing and helping us stay closely connected to evolving industry thinking. It enables us to listen, understand emerging challenges and make better informed decisions about how we support our customers.”
“I recently attended the BVRLA’s Parliamentary Reception at the House of Commons, which brought together policymakers and industry leaders to discuss progress on the transition to zero‑emission vans. The discussions reinforced the value of collaboration across the sector and the need to stay focused on real-world operational readiness as fleet electrification continues to grow.”
“Becoming a member strengthens our ability to play an active role in these conversations and continue delivering practical, workable vehicle solutions for our customers.”
