Scott Christian, Chief Financial Officer at Bond International, has been shortlisted for CFO of the Year at the Private Business Awards 2026, sponsored by BDO.
The awards celebrate the best private and PE-backed businesses in the UK with a turnover of £10m – £500m. Last year’s inaugural awards saw winners including Totalmobile, Flagstone Group and Cycle Pharma.
Scott’s shortlisting recognises his contribution to Bond International’s continued growth, financial strength and long-term investment strategy. Bond has grown into one of the UK’s leading tyre wholesalers, with turnover over £400M in 2025 with further significant growth expected in 2026.
As CFO, Scott has played a central role in supporting the company’s expansion, including major investment in warehousing, fleet, systems and infrastructure. This includes Bond’s wider £120m infrastructure investment programme, designed to increase stock capacity, improve service levels and support the company’s national distribution network.
The second year of the awards programme has recognised the companies and business leaders that represent the very best of private business in the UK. With finalists selected by an independent judging panel, the winners will be announced at the Private Business Awards Gala Dinner at The Savoy Hotel in London on Thursday 10th September 2026.
The Private Business Awards received over 700 nominations across its 11 categories. The shortlist was selected by an expert judging panel of leading industry figures. The awards attracted nominations from diverse sectors and regions throughout the UK, reflecting the breadth and depth of private business excellence nationwide.
